We are proud of our experienced team and our ability to offer the very best in eye care using the best technology available. Our examinations allow us to test for undetected eye conditions and provide an overall picture of your ocular health, so we can provide correction and treatment when necessary.
Our job is to understand the specifics of your eye health and to recommend the best products and practices to help correct and aid your vision.
Your Eye Examination at Stella Griffiths
We offer private and NHS eye examinations at our conveniently located practice in Huddersfield. They are simple, effective and designed to cater to your specific needs.
During your eye examinations, we will always run the most important tests to assess your vision and check for any conditions that may be developing.
Your optometrist will tell you about each test that is carried out and at the end of the examination, they will explain their findings and offer a recommendation.
We believe in providing comprehensive eye care tailored for you and our eye examinations are no exception. Alongside our comprehensive set of tests, we provide Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) to create the most detailed assessment of your ocular health.
What is an OCT Eye Scan?
OCT allows us to create a 3D image of your inner eye using a special kind of light. Using this image we can examine key areas and spot any abnormalities that may need further attention such as; glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and diseases of the optic nerve.
