Who Are Stella Griffiths Opticians?

Dr Stella Griffiths has worked at the Waterloo practice for over 22 years and has a wide range of experience. She was awarded a doctorate(PhD) in 1987 and continues to have links with both Manchester and Bradford Universities where she has worked as a visiting clinical lecturer; she also examined nationally with the College of Optometrists for over 25 years. Stella was a Senior Optometrist for 5 years in the Hospital Eye Service and has good local contact with Eye Clinic staff and Consultants.

Imran qualified as an Optometrist in 2008 and joined the practice in 2017. He thoroughly enjoys his profession and has a keen interest in ocular pathology. In his spare time, Imran likes to travel and spend time with his family, particularly his numerous nieces and nephews.

Rebecca joined the practice in 2014 as an optical advisor. Since then she has enjoyed a varied working role, from reception, admin, buying frames & dispensing.

With over 25 years of customer care experience Rebecca enjoys the personal element that comes with a small independent practice.

Out of work Rebecca is kept very busy with her family.

Sarah has worked alongside Dr Griffiths since joining the practice twelve years ago. Within this period she has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of the optical industry.

She is a familiar, friendly face in our practice and offers the best of care to all our patients, (existing and new)

Outside of work she loves helping out with with her grandsons and socialising with friends.
